COACH TIGEE RIDEAUX HAS CHANGED THE CULTURE INSIDE THE NIMITZ LOCKER ROOM. The Cougars finished third in the district last season and won a playoff game over Grand Oaks. Nimitz is off to a fast start in 2022-23 led by Ja’Varius Thompson, a first-team, all-district returner. Eric Woods was a second-teamer. They will be complemented by Maurice Wilson-Smith, Tyler Guillory, Dominic Samuel and Eliyahs Hood. Can Nimitz become a household name in Houston-area hoops?
