Resources required • Your school’s version of Adobe InDesign with all available online updates installed • Permissions, browser settings and networking configuration addressed and granted by the school’s IT Department • Walsworth’s Enhancements Terms to Know • Folio Page number on a yearbook spread; accompanying words or phrases identifying the content are called folio tabs • Marquee A dotted rectangle that appears temporarily when selecting an object or using the Zoom tool to identify and zoom into a particular area of a page • Parent (Master) Book An InDesign document meant to represent the entire yearbook • Parent (Master) Page A page in InDesign that is opened by clicking on the L or R page icon; anything placed on a Parent Page will be repeated on all pages of the document • Parent (Master) template A template that enables all page creation to start from the same point; parent templates are often set up ahead of time with all color, style and folio information already saved to make page creation easier
