Organizations like Therapeutic Horsemanship, which helps disabled individuals, have received Operation Round Up grants.
One hundred percent of the funds allocated to Operation Round Up are used for grants. All program expenses are covered by the cooperative’s general operating budget.
Members and non-members in communities within CREC’s service area are eligible to apply for grants. Each month, the Cuivre River Electric Community Trust Board evaluates applications from individuals and organizations requesting assistance with education, medical needs, youth activities, home weatherization, and emergency and community service providers.
