The Power of Connections
The MyCuivre app got a facelift in 2021, making navigation easier for members.
Through the app, members also can report an outage straight from their devices and access other information about power restoration. Development and Growth of the Green Power Program Through the Green Power Program, co-op members can purchase a portion of their energy from renewable resources. One of the first programs of its kind in Missouri, the Green Power Program opened to the general membership in July 2004, following a pilot program launched the prior year. The Green Power Program provides an inexpensive way for members to receive their energy from a renewable source through the cooperative’s power supply network. Participation secures a portion of wind power generated in the region for delivery to the power grid for the member. The program requires a twelve-month commitment that’s renewed annually. Today, it remains one of the largest green power programs in the state.
