JUDGE ADVOCATE GENERAL’S (JAG) CORPS for Oklahoma Army National Guard is seeking qualified licensed attorneys to commission as part-time judge advo cates. Selected candidates will complete a six-week course at Fort Benning, Georgia, followed by a 10 ½-week military law course at the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center on the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville, Virginia. Judge advocates in the Oklahoma National Guard will ordinarily drill one weekend a month and complete a two-week annual training each year. TULSA CITY ATTORNEY’S OFFICE 2 MUNICIPAL ATTORNEY POSITIONS • ATTORNEY III – REAL PROPERTY • ATTORNEY III – LITIGATION Real Property position focuses on issues such as improvement districts, TIFs, abatements, code enforce ment, land and economic development, municipal elections, sign regulations, easements, foreclosures, affordable housing and community ownership pro grams, and zoning. Litigation position handles civil cases in state and federal courts (including jury trials and appeals to the 10th Circuit and US Supreme Court), arbitra tions, and administrative hearings in areas such as civil rights, wrongful arrest, tribal jurisdiction, torts, 1st Amendment, employment and labor, and open records. Position also assists in legal training at Police Academy.
