have found a sense of fellowship in an organization of whose outstanding yachting accomplishments they feel justly proud (Green, 2008). In the twenty first century, Clearwater Yacht Club continues to build on the traditions of camaraderie, cruising, and competitive sailing that have been the hallmarks of its first hundred years by creating a friendly, inclusive social space in which these activities can occur.
