Collision Awareness products are designed to detect both pedestrian and forklift traffic and alert all parties to the danger that exists just around the corner. 40% of all forklift fatalities are caused by an individual being struck or run over by a forklift. Many of these accidents and fatalities can be avoided by warning pedestrians and operators of approaching danger. Look Out 1, 2, & 3 For detecting traffic around the corner, the Look Out 1 and 2 are ideal. Each sensor alerts the opposite corner. For 3-way intersections the Look Out 3 R monitors the main aisle with two sensors and a third monitors the row that meets in the main aisle. Look Out 2 XL, 3, & 4 (Ceiling Hung) For 2, 3, or 4-way intersections, the Look Out 2 XL, 3, and 4 monitor and alert of traffic just around the corner. An optional Burst light on the bottom of the unit is available for increased visibility. The quick pulsating light illuminates the floor of an intersection before traffic passes through. Fit Height Awareness Sensors The “ FIT ” height warning sensors alert fork truck drivers of overhead obstacles that may be in the line of an elevated mast. When sensor beams are broken, the “ FIT ” lights and audible continuously alert the driver to potential danger. Sensors should be mounted 10'–15' in front of obstacles. 15' power cord is recommended. FOB Shipping Point. • Choose from 70', 130', and 200' options for distance between sensors. • Includes an Alerting box and selectable audible alarm with bracket. • Sensors and selectable audible can be used for interior or exterior applications.
