SOCCER

The Lady Spartans were phenomenal throughout the Winter (20-5-3), winning their second straight district championship in undefeated (14-0) fashion no less. Led by seniors Lauren Ahearn and Kristin Geczik, Stratford advanced all the way to the Regional Finals before narrowly falling (2-0 in OT) to the eventual State Semifinalist Ridge Point. The Stratford boys didn’t enjoy nearly as much success on the pitch, but they still managed to remain competitive in a tough district and showed some potential for 2024.

SWIMMING & DIVING

The Stratford Spartans cut

through the water in 2023 as one of the top teams in the district. Sophomore Elle Burke reached the State Meet in the 500-yard freestyle, while the boys advanced to State in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The girls team clenched the District 17-6A title.
