Within the next few years, several hotel brands will debut all-new residential collections, so Costa Rica diehards can spend as much time there as they want. W Hotels revealed its plan to open W Residences Costa Rica (wresidencescostarica.com) near its fi ve-star hotel in the Reserva Conchal resort community within Guanacaste Province. An hour north, Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique (hilton.com) will debut a 190-key hotel, 41 residences overlooking the Paci fi c Ocean. Finally, the Residences at the St Regis Papagayo (srresidencespapagayo.net), set for completion in 2026, will include 143 fully furnished residences with bespoke amenities and fi ve-star service.

Nayara Resorts are known for luxury, regenerative tourism, eco-luxe hotels and natural locations. The small resort brand’s fi rst hotel was Nayara Gardens in Costa Rica’s Arenal National Park, a rustic-chic tropical hotel; the brand has since expanded to two other Costa Rican hotels, as well as to Chile and Panama. ANDAZ COSTA RICA RESORT AT PENINSULA PAPAGAYO The Hyatt-owned Andaz, located within the community of Peninsula Papagayo, is just next door to the Four Seasons but o ff ers a more relaxed, design-focused experience.
