Sheep Industry News March 2022

INDUSTRY TOUR Approximately 60 ASI Annual Convention attendees took part in the Industry Tour on Wednesday, Jan. 19. Buses left San Diego bright and early and headed for the Imperial Valley, which is home to thousands of sheep from all across the West in the winter months. Stops included a look at Doc's Organics citrus facility and Planter's Hay, which markets hay all around the world. But the highlight of the day was sheep producer Martin Auza and a tour of the famous Imperial Valley sheep operations.
