GREEN HOUSE GAS MITIGATION

Sustainability Resources INTRODUCING GREENHOUSE GAS MITIGATION STRATEGIES SUMMARY FOR THE US SHEEP INDUSTRY. As part of the American Lamb Board funded Environmental Footprint study with Michigan State University (MSU), the research team developed mitigation strategies and best practices to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in sheep production systems. Next MSU is creating an emission calculator to enable sheep producers to estimate their current GHG emissions and model how they can reduce emissions on their operation with changes to various production practices.
