confidence and self-expression in her students. “Kids need to know that you truly care about them,” she concludes. “Even though they’re four, they can tell when you are unhappy with them, or when you don’t like them. And every kid wants to be loved. I don’t care what kind of background they come from. Every kid wants to feel loved.”
