Meet Akashi. He’s 4 years old, a rescue from Puerto Rico, and is a mix of husky, shepherd, chow-chow, and chihuahua. He’s a friend to many. He was discovered in the arms of a “foster parent” on the streets in Puerto Rico and rescued. We adopted him when he was 10 months old. Akashi Yomo is named after a Japanese whisky we love (Akashi) and Yomo is a beloved Puetro Rican reggaeton singer. This is our attempt to honor his heritage.
