Jocelyn came into the studio like a firecracker, ready to go sporting blue lipstick and red, white, and purple striped boots. A lot of what I do is respond to the energy of my clients. She had a confident and powerful presence. For the most part, I let her take the lead on the posing. I would direct her only when I felt I wanted a specific posture or expression or to prompt her into doing something expressive. For lighting, I wanted to sculpt her body, shape, and wardrobe.
