ATHLETE OF THE MONTH SPONSORED BY BASS FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC Liam Ayers is an eighth grader and all around sports lover. He plays bas ketball, football, soccer, lacrosse and is on his school’s track team. Over the years, he’s played basketball for MapSo, Dragon Army, and King Street Kings taking awards for “most improved” and “sportsmanship”. One of the highlights for Liam, was playing point guard on the MapSo 5th grade boys team that went undefeated (11-0). In addition, Liam participated on the SOMA flag football team as well as playing soccer for SFL and Community First. Most recently, he started playing for Maplewood LAX. He explains, “This summer, coach Evan at Independent Lake Camp inspired me to be a better all-around basketball player.” He’s looking forward to high school sports try outs and the chance to participate at Columbia High School in the fall as a first year athlete.
