Celebrate the winter season at Flood’s Hill, where community members sled and have fun in the snow. When there’s no snow, no problem. Thanks to the Meadowlands Park Conservancy, a dedicated non-profit transforming the park into an engaging space for SOMA residents, Flood’s Hill isn’t just a winter site, but a year-round destination with an exciting events lineup.

• Love My Pup… Love My Park Day: Join a delightful meet and-greet featuring dogs of the community.

• South Orange River Day: Participate in a community gathering for the Rahway River cleanup, celebrating environmental awareness. • Star Spangled South Orange: Listen to the songs of the South Orange Symphony Orchestra and witness the Townhall Deli Sloppy Joe eating contest. • National Night Out: Experience family-friendly activities, including free food, inflatable rides, face painting, and art activities.

• South Orange Summer Nights: Enjoy musical concerts, moonlit movies and a variety of food trucks.
