REAL ESTATE HOLIDAY HOUSE HACKS

If your house is anything like mine, your front porch is a practical daily display of deliveries. Since being home-bound, many people have become reliant on online shopping, grocery delivery and even sneaking in some extra Instagram ad inspired purchases. If we’re going to be stuck at home, why not make sure we have all of the creature comforts at hand? That said, I’m in a new “no stuff” mood. This holiday season I want to seize the spirit and decorate, but I want to do it without spending a buck or adding to our personal possessions. Here are some Holiday Hacks that will impress your guests without punching your pocketbook.

1. Stack your books! What better idea for a homemade Christmas Tree than dusting off those dustcovers and stringing lights around your eye catching “evergreen”? 2. What’s the draw? Use that wall you cleverly painted with chalkboard paint or string up some chalk packing paper to draw a fabulous fireplace next to your coziest place to sit together. 3. Cinnamon Sticks for the win! Grab some twine from your basement and bust out those cinnamon sticks from the pantry. Glue them to the outside of a thick candle and tie with the twine to finish off this rustic look that will make your house smell amazing. 4. Be a Wrap Star. Grab a roll of mailing paper and get to work with stencils, stamps, stickers or anything that alters the paper to present each gift as a custom work of art. The kids will love the gift of giving even more when they spent the time to tailor each box! You can find all sorts of ways to make your home Holiday Chic by using things you already own.
