CHARITABLE ACTS The word Rotary is familiar to many of us but at the same time, somewhat unknown. As a 100+ international service club, the Rotary’s purpose is to bring together community and business leaders to do humanitarian services. Rotary International is one of the oldest and largest service organizations in the world. All Rotary clubs share a key mission: “Service above Self.” It is energetic in fundraising, community contributions and networking activities. The Rotarians are hard at work planning their annual Christmas tree sales at the Maplewood Community Pool. Every year, they sell high-quality Christmas trees, wreathes and other decorative items. You will love the fresh quality trees and you’ll be helping a great community project. 100% of net sales go back to community projects. Details for Christmas tree sales: • Sales start Saturday November 27th at 9AM • Maplewood Community Pool at 187 Boyden Avenue • Weekly hours are Thurs: 6-8PM; Fri: 6-8PM, Sat 9AM – 6PM and Sun 9AM – 6PM The Maplewood chapter is always looking for new members.
