Gandalf loved rats. From the day we rescued him 10+ years ago, he chased rodents with gile. He was a good boy who loved his family, but mostly loved rodents. In May, we put Gandalf down and threw a send-off party/BBQ for him, where those who loved him joined us in tossing pieces of bar becued meat to the ground for him. It was just a fitting way to say goodbye to our beloved dog.
