Rural Heritage October/November 2025
When we started the draft horse calendar in 1979, we used photos of draft horses working on farms and in woodlots as well as performing in show rings and parades. for 45 years, and, for next year, we've combined our three most popular calendars into one: The Rural Heritage Draft Animal Wall Calendar. The calendar has an emphasis on draft horses but includes a couple months of mules, one of oxen and another of donkeys.
to try the Rural Heritage Wall calendar. And, if you haven't bought one of our calendars in the past, we think you will be impressed with the quality of paper, binding and photography we demand in our calendars and will appreciate the value. We have not raised the price of the calendars in five years. They cost just $17.95 each, postage paid. So, while the costs of manufacturing, paper and shipping have continued to rise, year after year, we have found ways to keep our costs down without sacrificing quality. To order yours, go to the order form on page 84 or look at our ad on the back cover. • • • • W e are never 100 percent sure if our schedule on RFD-TV will be changed from week to week. For the most part, it has been pretty consistent up until a couple months ago when the network sold our half-hour spot on Saturdays to another programmer and moved our Tuesday showing from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. Central Time. Sorry we didn't let you know beforehand. We didn't learn about the change until it had already happened. Remember, you can always watch any of our programs, free of charge, on our YouTube channel, https://www. youtube.com/ruralheritage. We add to our list of over 300 episodes every week. • • • • A s always, thank you for reading, subscribing and watching. We are thank ful for each of you. —jm
