TUNING UP THE McCormick Deering Cultivtor

My McCormick Deering cultivator(s) are no exception. The best I can determine, these ubiquitous cultivators are probably mostly from the 1920s and 30s. Most of the manuals refer to it as the

model “4.” While there are likely some other models and maybe even differences over the years, most that I have seen look basically the same. While there are many other brands of old sulky cultivators around, the M-D is the most common one I see in use and for sale. I find having multiple cultivators, set up in different configurations, is handy and saves spending lots of time reconfiguring the
