January 6 ABA Rendezvous 2025 — American Brabant owners and folks interested in the breed converged on the Julian Farm to work their horses. (New) January 13 NASHA Gathering 2025 — The North American Suffolk Horse Association held their annual gathering at the Berndt-Paral farm in Hartford, Wis. They used their horses plowing and harvesting potatoes. (New) January 20 Top Hat Carriage — Tim and Doreen Carroll operate a carriage service company in Dubuque, Minn., and show us their operation as we ride along with several teamsters. (New) January 27 Cedar Creek Plow Day 2025 — Volunteers at the third annual Cedar Creek Plow Day demonstrated plowing, sorghum gathering and boiling and mowing hay. Vendors were on hand to give workshops and sell their wares. (New)

(New) December 23 Huberd’s Shoe Grease — A Colorado couple keep a business going that has been treating leather for more than a century. (New) December 30 Matthew Miles’ New Barn — Matt and Marci Miles build a horse barn where they host public events to teach the public about farming. (New)
