of new and original research from global experts with field work using cattle and oxen on Tillers’ farm.

Our goal is to bring together the best practices that can be used to preserve and further the

lessons of draft cattle culture from the past for use in the future. The plan will be to have two afternoons devoted to formal presentations of an academic nature, along with one morning and one full day for field demonstrations and workshops. With several visiting teams on the farm for the MODA Gathering, we hope to make the field days a great teaching, learning and sharing event. A lot of work needs to happen between now and June, but for now, begin making plans to attend the Draft Cattle Symposium 2.0, June 25 27, 2026.
