animator. Caitlyn loves video games and Madison like to watch K(Korean)-Dramas on Netflix. “Being a twin is pretty cool,” Caitlin said. “We play basketball all the time. There are some things she can’t do and there are some things I can’t do. We work on those things together and that gets us both better.” Caitlin has a defensive mentality, while Madison is more of a ball-handler and scorer. One thing they do share is their inspiration… their parents. Their mother played basketball at Southern University and their father played at Mississippi State in the 1990s. “They push us, but they’re also there to just give advice,” Madison said. “I’ll ask about my shot and they will say, ‘try this or that’. Stuff like that. One thing is that they are very supportive and really developed our love for basketball.” As the twins embark on their junior season in 2023 24, they have one thing in mind and that is winning a TAPPS title. “We are competitors and have some unfinished business here,” Caitlin said. “We want to leave a great legacy at Rosehill.” Here’s a scary thought. Their brother Ethan, who projects to be nearly 7-feet tall, will enroll at RCS in a year.
