We’re definitely focusing on winning again, and making sure people know that we’re still the team to beat. “Personally, I was hurt all of last season up until the district meet. So, it’s a comeback-year for me as well. I didn’t get to have the season I wanted, but I’m confident that things will be different this time around.” TAPPS track and field hopefuls, you have been put on notice. That comforts me and helps to keep me going.” It would seem that community-aspect has paid dividends for the senior Eagle and now it’s time for her to fly. She will be taking her talents to the collegiate level on a track scholarship with the University of Kansas. “I loved everything about Kansas,” she said. “When I went on my official visit, it just felt like home. I knew I was making the right decision when I committed in November. It’s definitely going to be an adjustment
WHEN VIEWING THE ALL-TIME LEADERBOARDS OF ROSEHILL CHRISTIAN TRACK AND FIELD, THERE IS ONE NAME THAT TENDS TO BE THE RECORD-HOLDER – KALEIGH FRAZIER. The dual-threat sprinter/ hurdler has already cemented her status as one the most premier athletes to walk the halls of the Tomball private school. Lo and behold, Frazier’s background indicates that she was almost predestined to do so. “Track has always been a really big thing in my family,” she said. “My brother and father both competed in track and field, and so did my aunt. So, it essentially runs in the family. I wasn’t exactly forced into it, but I just naturally joined in the fifth grade and went with it from there.” Not only has Frazier taken part in the “family business” since elementary school through her formative years, but so has her younger sister Kaydence. She will be the next to take the baton for the Fraziers. She’s also been a member of the Rosehill Christian family since she was three years old. “I’ve gone here my whole life, so I don’t really know anything different,” said Frazier. “Being here, surrounded by people who are close to you, it makes a big impact. Especially since it’s a small school, everyone
