Each of the figures above are hand cast from a unique mixture of white Carrara marble, fiberglass and resin polyester to create beautiful nativity figures with exquisite detail. Each figure is hand painted in traditional colors with excellent detail in the face, hands and garments. The real gold and silver leaf used on the Wise Men give a wonderful effect. The durability of the reconstructed marble is outstanding. This is a nativity set that will be appreciated by generation after generation of your congregation.

The Demetz Art Studio is pleased to present its new Nativity set, starting with the set of the Holy Family, called Adua. The inspiration for this set came to Mr. Ivo Demetz after many trips to Africa, where he and his staff installed some outstanding statues in local churches.

The traditional large wooden stable shown above is expertly carved hand painted and cleverly folds down for convenient storage. The guiding star is finished in genuine gold leaf and the (fold down background) landscape scene is authentic in detail, showing the town of Nazareth. Complete with wood platform as illustrated above.

In the Ethiopian city called Adua, together with the help of parish members, Mr. Demetz designed and took their wishes and ideas to create this African style Holy Family. What you do see here is the final result of the Demetz Art Studio devotion to concept and attention to details. Cast in fiberglass, full round figures, in traditional colors.
