I t’s no secret that young lawyers receive continuous pressure at work, which comes in many forms, such as billing many hours, or bringing in business for the firm. This pressure impacts the personal lives of many young attorneys and can lead to burn-out, which not only impacts productivity, but also forces many young lawyers to leave the practice. Unfortu- nately, this is all too common, and the Young Lawyers Section will dedicate this bar year to assisting its members to find work-life balance. Work-life balance for attorneys involves more than just finding a job with flexible work hours; it’s also about finding a balance within the workforce to prevent burn-out.
