The Downtown Development Corporation of Peoria exists to encourage and support development in Downtown Peoria A thriving Downtown benefits Peoria and our entire region’s economy, thus our main goal is to initiate and support development projects that will create a vibrant environment for people to live, work, and play We are working towards an exciting place to be! VALUES Promoting growth with knowledge, integrity and collaboration, respecting the needs of developers as they relate and react to our community needs and desires DID YOU KNOW? The Downtown Development Corporation has been instrumental in assisting with a dozen large commercial and residential development projects in downtown Peoria, mostly in the Warehouse District We are on track to add approximately 400 new residential units in the next few years!
