WHAT WE DO The Scouting program has specific objectives called the “Aims of Scouting” They are character development, leadership development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. These aims are achieved through methods which include ideals, patrols, outdoor programs, advancement, and personal growth DID YOU KNOW? W D Boyce Council, named after the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) founder William Dickson Boyce, is celebrating 50 years of Scouting in Central Illinois! The council provides Scouting opportunities to boys and girls throughout 14 counties from Lincoln to Ottawa and Peoria to Bloomington
