We Care, a division of TCRC programs and services, provides services that help individuals maintain independence and improve the quality of life for those in need. We Care offers Transportation services, Meals on Wheels, a Food Pantry, and a loaner closet for medical equipment. WHAT WE DO Tazewell County Resource Centers Inc is celebrating 40 years 40 years of being advocates, 40 years of being friends, 40 years of caring, 40 years of supporting a life of choice! TCRC continues to provide goal-oriented choices for people with disabilities through services like community employment, job training, community day services, Springboard community programs, home-like residential services, low vision services and family support services Through a wide array of options, people with developmental disabilities and visual impairments have many opportunities to fulfill their life goals. Our community Employment Services program is our focus this year, as it continues to grow, providing inclusive employment opportunities throughout central Illinois for people with developmental disabilities TCRC partners with central Illinois businesses, building a reliable and diverse workforce for our community A Job Coach is there to help with resume building, identifying jobs,

redesigning and/or adaptations that will lead to a more independent work setting and mock interviewing to help develop a working relationship between the person and employer Successful partnerships match the skills of the person to the requirements of the job, and have included jobs in administration, customer service, hospitality, retail, manufacturing, and food services Our internal mini-enterprise programs, like our Custodial Services, allow people the opportunity to work in the community and build skills for sustained employment Springboard programs allow the opportu nity to work in groups in the community to learn life skills and have the opportunity to partner with businesses, schools, churches and other nonprofits for future success. Springboard programs are offered at many sites throughout Tazewell County The TCRC Sight Center is the only downstate low vision clinic assisting people with low vision issues such as macular degeneration or retinitis pigmentosis Through low vision rehabilitation specialists, we will support each individual patient through a treatment plan that allows them to maximize their independence Our educational community day services program provides a curriculum based train ing program tailored to meet the needs and desires of each person we serve Through daily living skills training, group projects, volunteer opportunities, and work-like op portunities, we are supporting each person to be as independent as they wish to be If you or your business is interested in partnering with TCRC for employment, catering services or custodial services, contact us at (309) 347-7148 You can also view our products and services at www tcrcorg com Thank you to all of our partners!
