South Side Mission is preparing for its 100th anniversary in 2025 and has launched Vision Possible, with plans to strengthen, reinforce and grow its impact for the 61605 zip code. South Side Mission is putting a new Thrift Store in the 61605 area, with plans to open this fall , and has begun work on a transformation of its Youth Ministry. Included in the upgrades will be new learning spaces, a Technology Center, virtual library and escape room. The growth also includes a Youth Culinary kitchen and classes, as well as the 1127 Youth Worship Center.
