WHAT WE DO The Picket Fence Foundation is a very unique 501(c)(3) nonprofit full service floral, gift and garden center, located at the gateway of Chillicothe, Illinois on Route 29. Our beautiful gift shop and boutique features many products made in the USA and is home to our AbilityMarketplace. The AbilityMarketplace features one-of-a-kind products made by people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities from our local area and around the country. These artists are well established entrepreneurs. The garden center in the Picket Fence Foundation offers seasonal products and is also home to the Ability Craft Marketplace. The inspiring Ability Craft Marketplace offers opportunities to students and individuals with disabilities that are learning to create products for sale. These emerging artists are responsible for displaying, pricing and controlling inventory of their products. The Picket Fence Foundation also offers a full service floral department. We specialize in special occasions, just because, sympathy and wedding flowers. We deliver throughout the greater Peoria area and surrounding towns.

Annuals and perennials make their debut at the Picket Fence Foundation every spring as thousands of plants arrive each week ready to be planted and then sold to the general public, offering even more job opportunities to those with disabilities. All purchases at thePicket FenceFoundation support our mission to serve those with disabilities and offer unique and exciting employment and training opportunities HOURS OF OPERATION Vary Seasonally - please call to confirm.
