throughout mid-America. If a passenger needs to f ly outside of their region, they work with similar volunteer pilot organizations that are in other regions of the United States. They work tirelessly to ensure that every person has equal access to transportation for healthcare and humanitarian needs. A husband and wife who used LifeLine Pilots said it best: “We have never met such compassionate, caring people, willing to volunteer their time and money to help others. The world needs more caring people like all of you at LifeLine Pilots.” DID YOU KNOW? Headquartered in Peoria, Illinois, LifeLine Pilots serves passengers living throughout the Midwest. They believe that everyone, regardless of location or income, should have equal access to healthcare. Since 1981, their volunteer pilots have flownmore than 6.1 million miles—that’s 9,100 missions—to medical appointments and procedures.

WHAT WE DO LifeLine Pilots coordinates free flights for passengers who need to travel for medical appointments and treatments using our network of volunteer pilots, who donate their time, skills and aircraft to fly them. Additionally, they fly missions for humanitarianneeds orflights of compassion. To qualify for a flight with LifeLine Pilots a passenger must: Have a medical or compelling humanitarian need far from home, be able to fly in an unpressurized aircraft, be able to step into and off of the plane with minimal assistance, and sit upright with the seat belt buckled for the duration of the flight. There is no limit to the number of times a passenger can utilize this service. A real strength of LifeLine Pilots is their network of hundreds of volunteer pilots
