Peninsula In Passage

Tidewater Properties, rented the building from Dickens. Copeland was eating lunch in the office with a colleague when they heard a shuffling sound and the door began to shake dramatically - mysterious since they had heard no cars crunching across the gravel parking lot. Copeland searched the building but found nothing. The shuffling and shaking

repeated twice more and the hair went up on the back of Copeland’s neck. After more fruitless searching “I knew something was there that we weren’t familiar with,” Copeland says. The realtors also heard noises later coming from the oldest corner of the building and would say to each other “we’ve got company back there.” “A few times as I left the building I felt a presence closely behind me,” Copeland adds. “I didn’t slow down or turn around to look - just kept moving. I believe there is the possibility of a ghost but never felt anything bad, just curious and different, kind of exciting.” The building has at times also housed a restaurant and suffered a devastating fire. Currently it’s home to The Village Church.

A ghostly presence?
