Peoria Magazine hosts a reception to honor local legends — individuals who have had a lifetime of impact on the central Illinois. The 2022 event was bigger and better than ever, with more than 350 people in attendance to honor the award recipients.

The Pekin Friends of 47 held their annual bowl-a-thon, chaired by Yvonne Herbstreith, on Saturday, July 30. Nearly 50 bowlers participated in the event held at Sunset Lanes with new owners Lisa and David Phillips.
