Stephanie Schachtrup Coad works on building projects for transpor tation, education, recreation and municipalities. Her duties include project management, business de velopment, design and marketing. When Stephanie returned to her hometown fromChicago with her family, she found a way to do what she always wanted to do: practice at the intersection of structural engineering and architecture

When most people stayed home during the pandemic, she rolled up her sleeves, recruited her mom, and both volunteered at the Peoria City/County Health Department administering COVID-19 vaccines. DURING THE PANDEMIC STEPHANIE, WITH HER MOTHER, VOLUNTEERED AT THE PEORIA CITY/COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT ADMINISTERING COVID-19 VACCINES Hobbies : “Cooking, yoga, reading, watching University of Illinois sports.” Bucket list number one : “Taking my children to Florence (Italy) to experience some of my favorite Renaissance art and architecture (and cuisine).” Biggest challenge : “Getting through the pandemic while maintaining a job and raising small children.” Recommended book : “ Daring Greatly by Brene Brown.” Peoria needs : “Trader Joe’s!”
