HOW DOES ITWORK? • Visit www.springdalecemetery.com/gravefinder or use your phone’s camera app to take a picture of the QR code. • Enter the name of an individual in “Last Name, First Name” format in the search bar. • See an aerial view of the gravesite plus any additional information contained in Springdale’s database. • Zoom in or out to view nearby roads and landmarks. • Alternatively, use the drop-down arrow next to the search bar to search by cemetery section or lot number.

WHAT IS IT? An online tool that makes it easy to find the grave of a relative, friend, loved one or historical figure buried at Springdale. Nearly 80,000 burials currently are accessible via Grave Finder, and we plan to make regular updates to correct errors and add burials. WHY IS IT NEEDED? Finding gravesites in our 200-plus-acre cemetery with six miles of winding roadways is a challenge even for local residents. As interest in genealogy grows and more people visit from outside the area, we need a solution that improves the overall Springdale experience and doesn’t require cemetery staff to locate graves and print maps. Grave Finder gives you control over your visit to the cemetery, allowing you to search when and where it’s convenient — before you arrive or while you’re on site.
