High School Mock Trial 2024

“Hi, l'm Lily and I'm a sophomore at Helena high. This was my first year participating in mock trial and I loved it. I was very nervous as this was my first year, and while it was a lot of work, it was also extremely fun and educational. I learned so much about the legal system and teamwork while also becoming a better public speaker. At the beginning of this year, I struggled with this skill as I was a very anxious while public speaking. However, by the end of mock trial that had changed entirely. During my last few trials, I wasn't even nervous at all. It was amazing to watch my team come together and help each other along the way, from building cases to presenting them, it is an experience I will cherish. Mock trial has helped me build confidence and improve my communication skills.
