Mold Base Components

The Original Slide Lock™ - still holding strong! Slide Locks are used to hold open the slide during the part ejection process of the molding cycle. The simplicity of the Slide Lock design allows dependable, repetitive mold base slide motion while neatly seated in a concealed retaining pocket that prevents debris jamming. The flat surface contact provides greater positive locking action and more dependable operation than ball contact or bulky pin style types. The ultra-compact design allows use in very limited installation space. Slide Locks are available in three compact sizes that are based on the maximum weight of the slide. The ratings are: SLK-8A - 8 lbs., SLK-25A - 25 lbs., and SLK-50A - 50 lbs. weight capacities. Multiple Slide Locks can be easily used in the same slide for higher load retention
