“I spend my days there snorkeling with manta rays, walking along the long natural beach and recharging my batteries at the Ayurvedic Retreat, with private yoga sessions and
Ayurvedic massages”
You may know him as the man famous for the $1,500 haircut. Or perhaps you were at a charity event where a haircut with himwas auctioned off alongside private soccer lessons with David Beckham. World-renowned hairstylist Rossano Ferretti tells us that when he’s not traveling the world visiting his far-flung salons, he returns to his special place, Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru in the Maldives. The mix of natural wilderness, pristine water (it’s located in the Baa Atoll Unesco Biosphere Reserve), and sense of understated chic call him to return again and again—he describes its pull as addictive. Even though he’s miles from his home in Parma, Italy, Ferretti says that Blu’s “Chef Ciro D’Amico always manages to bring me back with his Southern Italian dishes.” THE VOYAGER Rossano Ferretti
“I never wear shoes or sandals as I want to enjoy the feeling of sand between my toes.”
“I always travel with my Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. It’s rugged enough for a day on the beach and elegant enough for dinner.”
