MILLION AIR

Takeo ff

Welcome aboard, and welcome to the world of Million Air! Growing up in northwest Arkansas, my childhood was fi lled with the constant hum of aircraft engines and the allure of fl ying the skies above. My father was a pilot himself, and my proximity to an airport instilled in me a deep fascination for aviation — a passion that has shaped my life’s journey in ways I could have never imagined. My dream was simple: to soar through the skies as a pilot. Little did I know that this passion would lead me to helm a brand like Million Air, dedicated to serving pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike with a commitment rooted in a shared love for fl ight and aviation history. Recently, our Million Air maintenance team embarked on a project close to my heart — a project that speaks volumes about our dedication to preserving aviation’s rich legacy. As the world commemorated the 80th anniversary of D - Day, a pivotal moment in World War II, we undertook the meticulous restoration of a historic Douglas A - 26 Invader bomber aircraft. This twin-engine bomber, known for its crucial role during the later stages of World War II and beyond, holds a special place in aviation history. Named ‘Million Airess,’ our restored A - 26C Invader now stands as a testament to the bravery of those who fl ew it in combat. Manufactured in Long Beach, CA, in 1944, it served gallantly with the Ninth Air Force in Europe and later saw action during the Korean War. The restoration of Million Airess was no small feat. Countless hours of dedication from our skilled maintenance team ensured that this piece of history not only returned to airworthiness but also embarked on an epic journey across the Atlantic to Normandy. Flying approximately 60 hours there and back, the team and I made stops across several countries before landing amid thousands of spectators in Normandy, where we honored the sacri fi ces of those who fought for freedom. At Million Air, our mission goes beyond business — it encompasses a deep-seated passion for aviation excellence and a profound respect for those who paved the way before us. The restoration of Million Airess stands as a symbol of our unwavering commitment to honoring aviation history and preserving the stories of heroism that de fi ne it. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Million Air maintenance team, whose dedication made this restoration possible. Their late nights and long weekends were instrumental in bringing Million Airess back to life. Special recognition to Carlos Renova (shop foreman), Leonel Turcios (avionics manager), Robert Courmier ( fl ying crew chief ) and Quinton Lawson (assistant crew chief ) for their exceptional work and commitment to excellence. We invite you all to join us in celebrating this signi fi cant achievement, to re fl ect on the courage of those who served, and to share in our commitment to keeping aviation history alive for future generations.

Blue skies and tailwinds,
