12 STAGE REFINISHING PROCESS 1) Photograph and document item. 2) Completely dis-assemble the item down to individual screws, nuts and bolts. 3) Adjust and repair any broken or damaged parts. 4) Fabricate or cast any missing parts, as per customer’s approval. 5) Strip off the original lacquer from all parts, prepare them for polishing. 6) Polish all parts as originally finished or as per customer’s instructions. 7) Remove all polishing compounds using a custom designed cleaning process containing no harsh chemicals or solvents harmful to the environment. 8) Seal parts with a durable low VOC lacquer. 9) Process parts in industrial ovens to achieve a deep lustrous and durable finish. 10) Inspect all parts to ensure uniform and complete coverage of cured lacquer. 11) Re-assemble, adjust and lubricate all moving components to ensure proper operation. 12) Conduct thorough quality control inspection and ship item back to customer.
