Several years ago, we created the Massage Heights Family Fund. This fund was established to provide financial relief to Massage Heights Retreat team members and their families who face extraordinary challenges in their lives due to illness, natural disasters, unforeseen medical expenses, etc. To date, we have granted over $150,000.00 to support our franchisee’s staff in their times of need. We also pride ourselves in being good industry stewards. We have several initiatives that support the massage, skincare and spa industries including conference participation, charitable donations, and volunteer leadership. We are a proud contributor to Massage Therapy Foundation via the Jac Project and have been a Cornerstone Partner for the Massage Makes Me Happy international initiative for the past three years. We all truly believe in the healing power of hands on therapies and hold the work of massage therapists and estheticians in high regard. Q Tell us about your new virtual show and podcast, Outside the Room. A Outside the Room is the first-ever virtual show and podcast for massage therapists and estheticians designed to honor these wonderful hands-on healers and highlight the importance of careers in massage, beauty, and wellness. In the past 2 years, we recorded over 30 episodes that have featured iconic leaders who have inspired us with their career stories and their passion. It’s been amazing to interview guests like Benny Vaughn, Erik Dalton, Dr. Tiffany Field and Kerri Strug to name a few. Positions available in California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, working as a spa consultant and helping to care for my elderly Mom, I started to explore full-time leadership opportunities in the spa and wellness industries. When Massage Heights CEO, Susan Boresow, contacted me about a position, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I had met several of the Massage Heights franchisees in 2018 when I was a keynote speaker at their international franchise conference. These business owners really impressed me with their passion, and commitment to caring for their staff. I joined the team in August 2021 and the last few years have been very rewarding. Q How does Massage Height’s support the work of its massage and skincare therapists? A From the corporate office, we have a very robust learning management system that Virginia, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and Florida.
