A PRACTICAL REVIEW OF GENDER-AFFIRMING CARE 3:20-4:20P This presentationwill provide practical information for pharmacists regarding gender-affirming care for transgender and gender non-conforming individuals. This talk will include a discussionof the disparities that transgender andgender non-con forming individuals face within the healthcare system; a review of key clinical concepts for gender-affirminghormone therapy for setting goals, evaluating therapy, and assessing for safety; and a review of common medication errors associated with gender-af firming care. The goal of the presentation will be to present very real-world considerations thatwill be applicable topharmacists in many practice settings. 3:20-4:20P This program will provide education on Major DepressiveDisorder (MDD) andChronic KidneyDisease (CKD).
