ATHLETIC TEAMS – THE STORMERS Students on all of our sports teams learn and practice skills that serve them throughout their lives . MATC sports teams are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association and the North Central Community College Conference . Students are encouraged to tap into their passions and share their stories in words, pictures, video, audio or drawings . They can create content about current events, sports, music, movies, gaming, poetry, art and other topics . Students have an opportunity to create professional work for the Times and link it to their resumes and portfolios . They can commit as much or as little time as they would like to in a variety of roles, including contributor, writer, photographer, illustrator, graphic designer, social media manager and editor .
