Academic and Career Pathway General Education

The General Education Academic and Career Pathway is MATC’s largest and offers a dynamic combination of liberal arts and sciences courses that prepares students to transfer to a four-year college or university, or to enter the workforce. The curriculum equips students with essential skills in critical thinking, communication and problem-solving, building a strong

academic foundation for students pursuing a wide range of educational and career goals. Our curriculum fosters intellectual curiosity and academic excellence in the arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences, and empowers students to engage thoughtfully with the world.
