Use code 003866 at fafsa.gov. Program Description This program prepares you to work in the barbering profession, in compliance with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. You will learn shampooing, cutting and hairstyling techniques, shaving, beard trimming, hair coloring, and other services. Graduates of this program are eligible to take the state board licensing exam. Career Outlook Employment prospects for licensed barbers are excellent. Many barbers are self-employed, either owning their business or leasing booth space.
