Our scholarships include: The full-ride Ellen and Joe Checota MATC Scholarship Program is designed to have students earn a technical diploma or certi fi cate and enter the workplace faster.

MATC Promise for New High School Graduates & Adults offers free tuition for eligible students who never thought college was possible, and to adults looking to return to college.

High School Student Eligibility • Eligible for federal Pell grants • Earn a 2.0 GPA or higher • Live in MATC district Adult Eligibility • 24 years or older • Live in the MATC district • Have not earned an associate or bachelor’s degree

Eligibility Requirements: • Enroll in 9 credits in short-term technical diploma or certi fi cate program • Live in the MATC District • Have not earned an associate or bachelor’s degree • Live in a lower-income household as de fi ned by federal poverty guidelines • Agree to participate in post-graduation surveys What’s Covered: • All tuition and course fees • Books and required equipment/supplies • Childcare costs • Campus Meal Plan • Housing at MATC’s Westown Green apartments • Transportation
