The Associate of Arts, Associate of Science and Associate in Applied Science degree programs typically require two years of full-time study to complete. Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree programs include courses in the 200-level; credits earned in most 200-level courses will be accepted by four-year colleges and universities to satisfy course requirements for bachelor’s degree programs. It is important to consult with the four-year school regarding speci fi ccredit transfer details. Associate in Applied Science degree programs provide hands-on training leading directly to a career. Most courses in these programs are numbered in the 100-level; selected 100-level courses are accepted for transfer to bachelor’s degree programs, but it is important to check transferability with the four-year school you plan to attend.
