Learn-to-Sew

     Small & Large     Suggested Fabrics: Cotton types, denim, twill, decorator fabrics, canvas. LINING in cotton, cotton types. Lined bags in two sizes have contrast band at top edge, flat bot- tom, handles made from self fabric, and optional sew-in trim at band seam. Bags are very easy to make and have special easy- to-follow instructions.

 Thread, piece of cardboard or plastic mesh for bottom stabilizer: 4”x 7” (10 cm x 18 cm) for Large Bag, 3 1/4”x 4 3/4” (8 cm x 12 cm) for Small Bag. Optional sew-in trim such as fringe, pre-gathered ruffle, piping, or rick-rack: 30” (75 cm) for Large Bag, 24” (60 cm) for Small Bag.
